In Memory of Heather Strother: December 30, 1980 - August 6, 2005 |
 |
|
Heather Strother was a truly remarkable woman. Those of us who were lucky enough to know her would say that she was a living Angel. She was the most beautiful person most people had ever seen. But as beautiful as she looked on the outside, her appearance was nothing compared to her beauty on the inside. Her personality was infectious. When she smiled, the room would light up. It was impossible to be in a bad mood when Heather was around. She had a way of making everyone feel good about themselves, like they were important to her. When she walked into a room every head would turn. Her friends would laugh when they went out together because she would always have a huge group of men surrounding her. No matter how many people approached her, she always responded very graciously and with unsurpassed class.
Heather was a friend to anyone who needed her to be. She never lost composure when she was out with friends. Everyone could depend on her to be the designated driver, or to stand solidly beside them when they need it. Heather was a truly unselfish person. She thought of her mother, Angie, her two younger sisters, Christina and Brandi, and her fiancé, David Allen, more often than she even thought of herself. Values, principles, and morals were most important to her. She had faith in God, and because of that, we can have faith that she is with God as a true Angel in Heaven. Heather will be truly loved and missed by many, but it is comforting to know that she is in Heaven looking down on all of us.
You are in our thoughts and prayers Heather, and we thank you for the impact you have made on all of our lives.
Love,
Jackie and Ryan
